The Fine Print

Limited Warranty & Authenticity Guarantee

Effective October 25, 2025. Maintained in sync with our internal policy (v1.0).

1Scope of Coverage

This policy applies only to watches posted and sold through Bloom & Time PH's online channels (Instagram, Facebook, official site).

Watches sold at popup events, flea markets, and items not listed online are sold as-is. If a functional issue arises, we may still offer paid support or guidance at our discretion. This policy is subject to applicable law.

2Authenticity Guarantee

All online-listed watches are guaranteed authentic. If authenticity is questioned:

  • The watch must be evaluated by a qualified third-party such as a brand service center or recognized authentication service, with written documentation that can be reasonably cross-checked.
  • Please contact us first before arranging third-party evaluation so we can guide you to acceptable options and avoid invalid reports.

If the watch is confirmed counterfeit:

  • We will offer a replacement of equal or higher value, subject to availability.
  • If a suitable replacement is not available within 30 days from confirmation, we will offer an outcome consistent with applicable law, which may include a refund.
  • If the replacement exceeds the original price, the buyer may opt to pay the difference.

3Functional Warranty

Online-listed watches include a 90-day limited functional warranty from date of receipt. Covered issues include:

  • Movement failure.
  • Abnormal timekeeping beyond tolerance (see Section 4).
  • Day or date malfunctions.
  • Chronograph or complication faults.

Vintage parts note: For discontinued models, original parts may not be available. Where required, we may use high-quality compatible parts that maintain functionality and appearance.

4Timekeeping Tolerances

Performance is evaluated based on movement type, age, and norms. Watches performing within these tolerances are considered in spec and not covered.

  • Vintage mechanical (manual or automatic): ±45 seconds per day.
  • Modern mechanical: ±25 to 35 seconds per day.
  • High-accuracy quartz: ±10 to 20 seconds per month.
  • Standard quartz: ±20 to 30 seconds per month.
  • Solar or Eco-Drive: same as standard quartz once fully charged.

5Arrives-Working Protection

If a watch arrives non-functional, notify us within 7 days of delivery.

  • An unboxing video is strongly recommended and may qualify for a faster approval.
  • If no unboxing video is available, we may still review the claim using alternative evidence (clear photos, timestamps, courier damage report), at our discretion and subject to applicable law.

6Remedies and Refund Policy

Our preferred remedy order is repair first, then replacement with an item of equal or higher value if repair is not possible.

Change-of-mind: We do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, sizing preferences, or buyer remorse.

Defect, misdescription, or confirmed counterfeit: Remedies will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law, and may include repair, replacement, or refund when required.

7Exclusions

Not covered:

  • Water damage unless explicitly pressure-tested and stated in the listing.
  • Consumables such as straps, bracelets, spring bars, buckles or clasps.
  • Cosmetic wear disclosed in the listing (scratches, patina, lume aging).
  • Damage from accidents, misuse, magnetization, improper handling, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Items not sold through our online listings.

8Documentation and Anti-Fraud Protection

We document each watch's external and internal components before sale to establish condition and authenticity at time of sale. Warranty claims are validated against our documentation. Watches showing evidence of unauthorized part-swapping, modification, or tampering are excluded.

9Buyer Responsibilities

  • Keep original packaging and inclusions until the warranty period ends.
  • Avoid third-party servicing before our evaluation, as it may void coverage.
  • Handle vintage watches with care and avoid water and impact exposure unless explicitly stated.

10Claim Process

  • Claims must be made via DM within the warranty period, with order details and supporting photos or videos.
  • Buyer covers insured shipping to us. If approved, Bloom & Time PH covers return shipping within the Philippines.
  • We will exhaust repair options first using original or compatible parts where available.

11Limit of Liability

Liability is capped at the original purchase price plus any reimbursements expressly stated in this policy, subject to applicable law. Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
