FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Will the watch look like the photos?
Yes. We photograph each piece up close and sharp, and we never edit out scratches, patina, or signs of age. Every listing states the condition plainly. If a watch ever arrives not as described, message us within seven days and we will make it right.
Are the watches authentic, and is there a warranty?
Every watch listed online is guaranteed authentic and comes with documentation. Each also carries a 90-day functional warranty from the day it reaches you, covering the movement, timekeeping within tolerance, the date, and complications. The full terms are on our warranty page.
Where do your watches come from?
Primarily Japan, where vintage watches are preserved with exceptional care. Wherever a piece originates, it passes the same verification and documentation before it reaches a listing.
How accurate will a vintage watch keep time?
Vintage movements were not built to modern standards, and that is part of their character. We confirm each runs within a sensible tolerance for its type before listing. A vintage mechanical piece, for instance, is in spec at around 45 seconds a day.
Have the watches been serviced?
Yes. The moment a watch reaches our watchmaker, every quartz piece is cleaned internally and fitted with a fresh battery. Automatic and mechanical watches receive a full service by default, unless the piece arrived already fully serviced. Over the years it will still benefit from periodic servicing, and we are glad to point you to watchmakers we trust.
Can I wear it in water?
Treat any vintage watch as not water resistant unless a listing explicitly says it was pressure tested. Keep it away from water and hard knocks and it will look after you for years.
Do they come with box and papers?
Most vintage watches lost their original box and papers long ago, and each listing states exactly what is included. Either way, your watch always arrives presented in a box, whether its original one or a premium aftermarket leather box, along with our warranty card.
Will it fit my wrist?
Every listing notes the case size. Send us your wrist measurement and we will tell you honestly how it wears, with wrist shots if that helps.
How do payment and delivery work?
A non-refundable downpayment reserves a piece, with the balance settled within three days. Full payment is welcome too, and we accept online transfers for either. Shipping is free nationwide, fully insured and tracked, sent by Grab Express within Metro Manila and by LBC for orders outside it. Same-day delivery is available within Metro Manila.
Do you offer layaway?
Yes, on pieces priced above ₱10,000. A 20% downpayment reserves the watch and we hold it for you while you settle the balance in installments. The term depends on the price. Four weeks up to ₱15,000, six weeks up to ₱20,000, and eight weeks above that. Each installment has a five-day grace period. If payments lapse past the grace period, the plan is cancelled and the downpayment is non-refundable. The watch is delivered once it is fully paid. Message us to set one up.
